I'm Stephanie Day
I describe my style of photography as "Art in Motion" I am either capturing whales, birds, waves and other wildlife or I am taking aerial photographs from a seaplane! So the subject is always moving or I am moving. It keeps it exciting and always different. I love capturing beautiful images and sharing them with the world! - Stephanie Day
Stephanie Day is an award winning videographer, magazine publisher and TV producer who is a native of Richmond, Virginia. She shares the love of flying and photography with her husband who is a pilot and a drone enthusiast. Stephanie loves flying over and photographing the mountains, rivers, lakes and beaches of Virginia in her seaplane named Shadow. She likes to fly Shadow up and down the coast to Florida, The Keys and on to the Bahamas. Additionally, Stephanie calls Hawaii her second home during whale season, so it's no surprise she has an amazing collection of photographs of Humpback Whales, big waves, and Maui sunsets!
"My goal is to give everyone a “window seat” to see the colors, the seasons, ocean life of some of the most breathtaking landscapes. The mystical and magical harmony of Mother Nature inspire my collection of “art photography” that exists all around us.”
Stephanie has incredible talents at capturing just the "right moment" and transporting you to some of the most beautiful places on earth. Almost never without a camera in her hand, she will open the window to her most exciting adventures and aerial photography that some people won’t have the opportunity to see from their view. Also, her enthusiasm for documenting behaviors of whales, birds and other creatures from her perspective brings out their unique personalities and characteristics. Being able to collaborate with my husband, pilot and filmmaker has been the real journey. We have worked on everything from movies, documentaries, wedding films and tv shows together. My highlight was accompanying him to The Cannes Film Festival for a film screening of our production and winning two Emmy awards for our film and video production work. I’m now off on an adventure in a new direction to open this gallery of art photography collections I capture along the way.
